Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience preferred; inside sales, estimating, or distribution experience a plus.
• HVAC knowledge preferred but not required; Aireco provides training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers, pricing and orders.
• Excellent interpersonal and phone skills for all staff and customers.
• Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with order-entry and quoting systems.
• Commitment to continued learning, using HARDI and other resources.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes and bids for residential and light-commercial HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Help contractors and sales staff select and apply the right equipment for the job.
• Bid and track projects from quote through order, delivery, and completion.
• Follow up on open quotes to convert them to orders.
• Enter and manage orders, confirm stock and lead times, and coordinate deliveries with branches and warehouse.
• Handle special and non-stock orders following Aireco's non-stock policy.
• Resolve order, pricing, and delivery issues quickly and keep customers informed.
• Answer customer calls and emails regarding pricing, availability and product questions.
• Work closely with branch managers, outside sales representatives, and manufacturer representatives.
• Promote current manufacturer programs, rebates, and Aireco bundle kit promotions when quoting.

THE POSITION:

Aireco is seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Project Estimator to support our branches, outside sales team, and contractor customers from our Savage, MD, location. This role quotes and prices residential and light-commercial equipment and supplies, prepares bids, tracks projects through completion, and keeps orders and deliveries moving. We're looking for someone who’s energetic, self-motivated, makes sound independent decisions, and solves problems effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years of sales experience preferred; inside sales, estimating, or distribution experience a plus.
• HVAC or related industry knowledge or experience is preferred but not required. Aireco provides training.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers, pricing, and order entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and phone skills, with the ability to work with customers and all levels of staff.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); comfortable learning order-entry and quoting systems.
• Commitment to continued learning, using HARDI and other available resources.
