Job summary

A leading distributor in HVAC/R supplies is seeking a motivated individual for the Branch Manager position in Newport News, VA. Responsibilities include managing personnel, inventory, and customer service while ensuring the facility meets company standards. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and preferably have sales experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain required daily reports.
• Conduct inventory control and replenishment.
• Mentor and coach employees.
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter.
• Assist customers with their HVAC parts and equipment needs.
• Establish and manage work schedules.
• Process customer transactions including pricing, quotes, orders and returns.
• Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers about products.
• Recommend items to increase customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Support branch appearance, stocking shelves and merchandising.
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter.
• Assist customers with HVAC parts and equipment needs in person or by phone.
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Work in a team environment supporting multiple product lines.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC products or related trades.
• Basic computer fluency and quick reference to parts.

Aireco Supply, Inc is a leading distributor of HVAC/R equipment, components and supplies serving Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and Delaware. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the branch manager team in our Newport News, VA (Oyster Point) branch locations. The individual is responsible for effective management of personnel, inventory and customer service. Operating and maintaining branch facility in accordance with company standards. Working with company and sales representatives to establish and meet sales goals. Aireco is searching for a candidate who is a team player with a passion for customer service, commitment to driving sales and reaching branch goals.

Job Functions

• Managing and maintaining required daily reports.
• Inventory Control/ Replenishment
• Mentoring/ Coaching Employees
• Manage/ improve productivity and efficiency at all levels.
• Organize and maintain positive store appearance
• Establishing work schedules
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions such as providing pricing, quotes, processing orders and managing returns
• Generate new and repeat sales by educating customers about products
• Proactively recommend items needed by the customer to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability
• Support and maintain branch appearance, assisting with stocking shelves and merchandising
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter while maintaining a positive attitude
• Assist customers with their HVAC parts and equipment needs both in person or via telephone
