Job summary

International Distribution Network in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customers by phone and in person, manage price and availability, and process orders.

This role collaborates with branch staff to exceed customer expectations, coordinates warehouse tasks, and builds relationships with vendors to support growth. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in inside sales or customer service, knowledge of door hardware, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Inside Sales Representative (Full Time), Cincinnati, OH

• Assisting customers by phone and in person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales)
• Using the computer system to provide information on price and availability
• Order processing and related customer assistance.  In addition to handling stock orders, this includes processing special orders, presenting promotions, handling customer returns and related tasks.
• Warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping)
• Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders
• Outbound customer calls to assist in growing the local business

This individual should excel in a team-oriented work environment – working with the branch staff to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and providing contributions that support customer retention goals and company/branch growth objectives.   

Key Working Relationships:

The successful candidate will report to the Branch Manager in Cincinnati, OH. The individual will work closely with other staff members and with the local Outside Sales representative.

Requirements:

• Must be self driven & hard working
• 1 to 3 years Inside Sales/ Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred)
• Door Hardware knowledge preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
• Team player
