Job summary

Eagle Fence Distributing, LLC, a leading nationwide fencing products distributor, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Charlotte, NC. In-person position supporting the local branch with responsibilities spanning order processing, quotes, and customer onboarding.

You will build productive relationships, respond to inquiries, and assist with growth while training in our fencing products. A base plus commission structure is offered with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle; drug screen required.
• Strong customer relationship skills and team orientation.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales Representative

SUMMARY:

Responsible for processing existing customer orders in a timely and friendly manner. Build productive relationships with customers and foster growth by assisting with onboarding of new customers.

What we are looking for:

Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment, and build productive relationships by solving problems. Experience in the fence industry is a plus but we are willing to train someone with relatable skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Develop knowledge of the products distributed by Eagle Fence Distributing LLC.
• Ensure timely response to customer inquiries.
• Provide product quotes with pricing and availability independently to foster growth and profitability.
• Perform order management to ensure customer expectations are communicated and delivery schedules are met.
• Assist other sales team members as necessary by answering customer inquiries for other sales team members.
• Responsible for increasing customer retention.
• When possible, sell excess or secondary inventory items, as identified, through established customer contacts and sales techniques to reduce product waste and unsatisfactorily high inventory levels
• Troubleshoot with internal cross-functional teams to increase customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products and able to learn proprietary programs for daily workload

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed

WORK LOCATION: In person; Charlotte, NC
