Job summary

Eagle Fence Distributing, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Yard Hand/Warehouse Crew member to assist with outdoor shipping yard activities, including pulling orders and loading/unloading flatbed trucks. You will move fence products and assist with manufacturing tasks as needed.

This role requires the ability to work in a team, follow safety procedures, and maintain organization in the yard and warehouses. Pre-employment drug test and physical are required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Willingness to train with relatable skills; fence industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Pull customer orders with accuracy
• Load/unload flatbed trucks in accordance with orders
• Maintain organization in storage yard, and warehouses
• Document daily paperwork and turn in to supervisor as required
• Operate vehicles, mechanized Devices, or equipment both indoors and outdoors
• Coordinate and directing others to complete task in a safe and productive manner
• Keep work area clean
• Other duties as assigned

Yard Hand/Warehouse Crew

SUMMARY:

This team member will assist with outdoor shipping yard activities, including pulling orders, loading and unloading flatbed trucks, and moving fence product using machinery over various terrain types. May also be responsible for assisting with the manufacturing of fencing products, including chain link gates and wood fence panels.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, weekends as needed

PAY:

$18-22 per hour
