Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Scranton is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to drive customer service and product recommendations for roofing, siding, and window projects.

You will help customers select the right products, enter orders, and coordinate pickups and deliveries. The role emphasizes strong communication, time management, and a team-first attitude, with benefits and a stable, employee-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend products and solutions.
• Follow product checklists and upsell additional items.
• Answer phones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply to customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals and complete orders.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as needed.

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am- 4pm

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
