Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding and window products.

You will determine needs, offer solutions, process orders and coordinate pickups with the warehouse. A friendly, service-oriented approach is essential as you contribute to a high-volume sales team. Shift is Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with overtime as needed; benefits include health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Pay Rate Information

$21-24/hr. Based on experience & qualifications.
