Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Goleta, CA seeks an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding and window products, process orders, and coordinate pickups.

The role offers Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, 1–2 years of related experience preferred, strong communication and time-management skills, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Up-sell additional products and supplies following a product checklist.
• Answer phones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payment and apply it to the customer account.
• Coordinate customer pick-ups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and accuracy.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

Specific Duties May Include

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific Qualifications Include

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills

Pay Rate Information

$28-35/hr. Based on experience and qualifications.
