Job summary

Air Specialty & Equipment Co. in San Antonio is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the branch's sales and operations. You will work closely with the Sales team and Technicians to quote, process orders, and secure purchases from customers.

This role requires 1–2 years inside sales experience, strong customer service, a valid driver's license, and a HS diploma or GED. You will handle outbound calls, maintain records, and seek new service contracts and parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Technicians to support branch operations.
• Prepare quotes for customers.
• Secure orders by obtaining purchase orders.

• Make outbound sales calls to service contract customers.
• Maintain paperwork and ensure POs, orders, quotes are up to date.
• Sell equipment to phone and walk-in customers and refer leads to outside sales.
• Keep customer information accurate in the system.
• Pursue new service business, maintenance contracts and parts sales.
• Coordinate with Technical Department to resolve repair/installation/service issues on compressors, blowers, and vacuum pumps.

Key Responsibilities

• Work hand & hand with Sales and Technicians
• Prepare quotes for customers
• Secure orders by obtaining purchase orders
• Process credit applications
• Make outbound sales calls to current service contract customers
• Maintain all paperwork and ensure POs, orders, quotes, etc... are maintained to ensure prompt customer follow-up and compliance with company procedures
• Responsible for phone sales of call-in and walk-in customers, including selling equipment and deferring leads to outside salespeople
• Maintain accurate customer information in our system
• Maintain accurate machine and parts information
• Process return of unused and/ or incorrect parts and update our system accordingly
• Seek to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts and parts/accessory sales
• Communicate with the Technical Department to find solutions for repair, installation, or service issues on compressor, blower and/or vacuum pumps
