Job summary

GEICO is hiring an Auto Inside Sales Representative in Lakeland, FL. You will provide insurance quotes, advise on coverage options, and convert quotes into new policies, delivering value to GEICO policyholders.

The role offers a base salary of $20 per hour ($40,300 annually) with up to $60,000 in incentives, plus a $1,500 sign-on for licensed candidates and licensing/education support at no cost. Hybrid, with 80% on-site and 20% off-site, based in Lakeland.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year sales or customer-facing experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license (training/exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with rapport-building ability.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking across platforms.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPI-driven goals.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For:

• Sales Experience: Minimum of 1-year sales or of professional customer-facing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• License: Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license (preferred) ( training and exam fees provided).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms.
• Experienced in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
