Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative greets customers and takes orders for HVAC products and supplies, assists with warranty returns and credits, handles customer inquiries regarding products and services, and ensures correct products are delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Develop pricing proposals for orders received via phone, email, or at the counter.
• Facilitate sales transactions through credit cards, cash, or checks while ensuring that customers are verified as authorized personnel.
• Ensure the overall appearance of the branch showroom, warehouse, and surrounding grounds is well-maintained.
• Process credits for items that have been returned in accordance with company policy.
• Support warehouse staff in retrieving and organizing sold items.
• Engage continuously with internal teams concerning order releases and product assistance.
• Guarantee that all customers exit the store with a sense of satisfaction.
• Focus on safety first and ensure the well-being of yourself and other employees and overall operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of sales experience (HVAC knowledge preferred).
• Basic understanding of air conditioning and heating knowledge is a plus.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize daily tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
