Allstate Insurance Agency - Joseph Shahrour in Irvine is expanding its sales team to bring in talented closers who can convert leads into policy sales. No prior insurance experience is required, only a proven track record of hitting targets and overcoming objections.

You will work with company-provided leads, undergo onboarding and ongoing training, and have clear paths into leadership as you achieve production standards.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to handle objections and close sales.
• License not required to apply; must obtain CA Property & Casualty license before selling insurance.

Responsibilities

• Quote and close company-provided leads across auto, home, and umbrella insurance.
• Follow up consistently, address objections, and confidently ask for the business.
• Recommend bundled coverage and identify additional household needs.
• Place eligible business through brokered carrier appointments.
• Work toward production standards: 50 items per month and 4+ hours of daily client talk time.

We are an Allstate agency in Irvine expanding our sales team. This opportunity is designed for salespeople ready to bring their closing skills into insurance, with company-provided leads, paid onboarding, ongoing training, and a documented path into leadership.

We welcome candidates from automotive sales, mortgage, financial services, telecommunications, solar, B2B sales, and other roles where you personally owned a sales target.

Be prepared to discuss your numbers:

what you sold, your target, your actual results, and how you earned the business.

An insurance license is not required to apply. You must obtain an active California Property & Casualty license before beginning insurance solicitation and sales.

Once licensed, you will:

• Quote and close company-provided leads across auto, home, and umbrella insurance.


• Follow up consistently, address objections, and confidently ask for the business.


• Recommend appropriate bundled coverage and identify additional household needs.


• Place eligible business through our brokered carrier appointments.


• Work toward clear production standards: 50 items per month and 4+ hours of daily client talk time.

Licensed-producer compensation includes:

• $23/hour base pay, paid regardless of production.


• New-business commissions of 2%–9% of written premium, based on monthly item count.


• Performance multipliers for bundling and life referrals that can increase the effective commission rate to 10.5%.


• A $1,000 quarterly production bonus for qualifying high-volume producers.


• Additional commission opportunities on brokered business.

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity in Irvine & Westminster.
