Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative serves as a key customer contact and resource for our team in the greater Huntsville, AL area. This role requires a positive and outgoing attitude, attention to detail, the ability to be a team player, and to provide excellent customer service. The representative acts as the subject matter expert for our product lines and services, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building key relationships to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Receiving, placing, and fulfilling customer orders.
  • Providing solutions and recommendations to customers.
  • Placing and receiving purchase orders.
  • Quoting and invoice processing.
  • Data entry and other office management tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven success in a sales and customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2+ years of sales experience required.
  • Construction supply and equipment industry knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with RentalMan (Wynne Software) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Coupa (P2P software) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
