Onco360 is searching for an Inside Sales Representative - Oncology. This is a fully remote position.

Salary range: $55k-$70k annually

Summary:

Using a balance of account management and direct telephone outreach, the primary responsibility of the Inside Sales position will be to develop and manage a designated territory, providing education and care coordination to prescribers for all Onco360 products and services. This role acts as a single point of contact, assisting prescribers in evaluating referrals and performing care coordination to meet service level requirements. This is often carried out in coordination with a mirrored outside sales representative. The targeted customers include physicians, NPs, PAs, nursing staff, office managers, administrative and pharmacy staff within hospital and community oncology settings.

This position is home-based with minimal travel required and involves the following:

Regional Director Major Responsibilities:

  1. Seek opportunities for prescriber experience process improvement and collaborate with Pharmacy OPS and outside sales to achieve prescriber experience and sales goals.
  2. Achieve designated call expectations for assigned prescribers, focusing on top targets, key influencers, and pipeline leads.
  3. Identify, rank, prospect, and develop key oncology practice and hospital-based business relationships within the targeted regional territory.
  4. Assist with sales escalations and communicate routinely with field sales representatives about details impacting prescriber or patient experience.
  5. Support education and delivery of key messages and product presentations within initiatives (e.g., Selling our Success, drug launches) to ensure territory performance.
  6. Forward calls related to clinical questions (e.g., dosing, adverse events) to Staff Pharmacists.
  7. Document updates and interactions in each patient’s profile and/or CRM.
  8. Use discretion and judgment in handling customer complaints, documenting and forwarding issues appropriately.
  9. Manage prescriber communication preferences and nurture relationships to improve loyalty and retention.
  10. Utilize SPOC Tool to process prescriptions efficiently throughout the workflow.
  11. Assist with prior authorizations and ensure timely prescription renewals to maintain continuity of care.
  12. Collaborate with sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Regional Director Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ retail or specialty pharmacy technician experience preferred, with familiarity in pharmacy terminology, billing, SIG codes, medication names, and IV dosage calculations.
  • 2 years inside or outside sales experience in pharmacy or health services preferred.
  • Oncology sales experience is desirable but not required.
  • Exceptional communication, probing, and consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of oncology providers, drugs, clinics, and hospital communities.
  • Understanding of oncology drug reimbursement, Managed Care, Medical Specialty, and PBM benefits.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
  • Proficient in data entry, verbal and computer skills, and familiar with CRM software.
  • Team-oriented with minimal supervision, capable of handling inquiries and applying mathematical concepts in practical solutions.
