Responsabilités

• Responds to customers’ needs, consistent with quality, culture, and business practices.
• Receive telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers, OEMs, and distributors.
• Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and provide the best possible service.
• Use a computer to retrieve customer information, stock status, and PO status; input correct codes.
• Follow up on inquiries by checking order status and coordinating with purchasing/expediter for deliveries.
• Make price quotations by phone on stock items; prepare RFQs for non-stock items and return quotations.
• Quote prices, terms, and delivery dates based on product knowledge and forecasts.
• Obtain quotes from approved vendors to meet customer requirements.
• Document all transactions (RFQ, vendor quotes, customer quotes, POs, change orders).
• Identify and develop new and existing marketing opportunities through mailings, research, cold calling and trade show leads.
• Target sales with outside reps, inventory reports, and low-activity accounts.
