National Trench Safety is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR 1) to support branch sales operations by handling customer inquiries, generating invoicing and contracts, and guiding issue resolution. The role emphasizes clear communication with customers, branches, and outside sales.

The ISR 1 should be detail‑or‑iented with strong customer service and collaboration skills, and comfortable using MS Office and Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inside sales or sales desk experience, preferably in construction equipment or underground safety rental.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
• Generates all sales operations documents (invoicing, contracts, pick list, packing list, returns) and distributes them to respective departments.
• Guides, assists, and elevates complaint resolution to ensure customers are properly served.
• Provides customers and other Branches with data and backup data as requested.
• Follows up with customers, Branches, and shop/yard operations on open issues.
• Reports on out‑of‑line conditions affecting customer satisfaction.
• May take after‑hours calls and document complaints for resolution at some branches.
• May open and/or close operations facilities in some branches.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR 1) supports the sales/operations of the branches by responding to customer inquiries and concerns, resolving customer complaints, generating sales documents, and effectively managing communication between customers, branches, and outside sales representatives. This position is safety sensitive and requires compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy, as well as adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to all customer inquiries, orders, and complaints.
• Generates all sales operations documents (invoicing, contracts, pick list, packing list, returns) and distributes them to respective departments.
• Responsible for guiding, assisting, and elevating complaint resolution to ensure that customers are properly served.
• Provides customers and other Branches with any data and backup data as requested.
• Follows up on a regular and as‑needed basis with customers, Branches, and shop/yard operations on all open and unresolved customer issues.
• Reports on all out‑of‑line conditions affecting customer satisfaction.
• May take after‑hours calls, i.e., security, and customers, and document any complaints for resolution at some branches.
• May open and/or close operations facilities in some branches.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum (1) year of experience working as an Inside Sales Rep or on a sales desk preferred, preferably in the construction equipment industry, underground safety rental industry.
