Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) serves TekniPlex’s Integrated Performance Solutions (IPS) business segment and its customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems. The ISR will be responsible for generating revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders from new and existing accounts, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, and providing technical information. The individual in this role will develop a detailed knowledge of TekniPlex product lines and leverage this knowledge to differentiate TekniPlex offerings to provide value-added solutions to targeted customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand the full scope of customer’s businesses and needs; develop relationships through oral and written communication.
  • Understand TekniPlex’s full range of products and capabilities.
  • Understand competitors’ products/services to position IPS’s solutions effectively.
  • Maintain existing business by working with small and medium-sized accounts, resolving customer complaints and issues.
  • Establish new accounts via phone, web inquiries, and email; verify and enter information into SalesForce.
  • Communicate pricing and policy changes.
  • Coordinate sales activities cross-functionally within the company to drive business and manage customer complaints.
  • Address customer complaints/disputes professionally and timely, ensuring long-term relationships.
  • Review market analyses and collaborate with marketing to target new segments and customers.
  • Achieve sales and EBITDA growth at or above budget, set financial targets, and analyze sales data.
  • Monitor key indicators impacting sales and profitability.
  • Deliver sales presentations as needed.
  • Communicate with production and quality teams to align on customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Provide feedback to the Global Innovation Center for new product development.
  • Attend trade shows and collaborate with Marketing and GIC to enhance industry and customer knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum five years of professional Sales and/or Customer Service experience, managing complex accounts.
  • Skills required: Excellent communication, problem-solving, pricing and forecasting, proficiency in Microsoft Office and SalesForce, ability to work independently and in teams, and desire to grow within TekniPlex.
  • Location/Travel: Ability to work remotely and travel up to 10%.
Additional Details

Remote position with a salary range of $68,000 to $78,000 DOE.
