PLP in Mayfield, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to handle inquiries, manage quotations, and support pricing strategies. You will coordinate with multiple teams to optimize pricing and renew blanket quotes, while maintaining strong customer relationships and accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in customer service with pricing experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communication and numerical skills. Some overtime during storm emergencies is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; specialized business education helpful.
• 3–5 years in a customer service role with pricing responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and writing abilities.
• People-oriented with good numerical sense.

Responsibilities

• Process inquiries and quotes; coordinate with teams to optimize pricing.
• Manage blanket quotation renewals with sales leadership.
• Meet deadlines for project responses and renewals.
• Share customer and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quotes and customer interactions.
• Provide technical product support across departments.
• Develop sales contacts and perform limited selling functions.
• Track and analyze sales trends; report findings to management.
• Maintain relationships with customers; ensure prompt communication.
• Assist in pricing strategy development to maximize profitability.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Resolve pricing issues on new orders and support order processing.
• Provide backup support for Inside Sales Representatives as needed.
• Occasional overtime during storm emergencies.
• Review unusual debit/credit/RMA requests and coordinate actions.
