Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an inside sales representative and project manager to coordinate customer support from quote to delivery. You will educate customers, interpret requirements, develop specifications and quotes, and manage orders through ERP systems.

In this 100% office-based role, you will maintain customer relationships, resolve post-delivery issues, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment while adhering to pricing policies and company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a sales or service-oriented industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills coupled with detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Strong professionalism and work ethic.
• Sufficient personal computer and business software application capabilities required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• This job is 100% office based.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue customer leads and opportunities. Effectively probe to understand the customer's needs.
• Educate the customer, interpret project requirements, and develop project specifications.
• Generate professional project estimates and sales of metal building systems, residential metal roofing and components. Follow up and close quotes.
• Enter sales orders into software systems and coordinate internal resources to provide customers with desired products and services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Comprehensive order review with the customer prior to submitting the order. Enter orders into the ERP system and coordinate internal resources to provide customers with desired products and services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Manage post-delivery issues such as damages, shortages, delays, changes, field fabrication methods, etc.
• Ensure the sale of products and services complies with proper pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as the customer’s point of contact, provide assurance, and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Act as the liaison between the customer and company regarding potential problems and customer desires.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
