Job summary

Gresco Utility Supply, Inc. in Wildwood, FL is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to promote and sell inventory, and to determine current and future material needs by communicating with customers.

You will build strong relationships with all customer representatives to foster trust and support the company’s service ethos. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience and solid math and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of college completed.
• 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong math skills and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Gresco Inventory, represented product lines, and services
• Communicate with customers to determine current and future material needs.
• Build relationships with all customer representatives that will promote the company philosophy and create trust.
• Provide market feedback to outside sales, Sales Manager, and the District Manager.
• Pursue opportunities to increase sales and gross margins.
• Promote and sell new products.
• Assist all departments as needed.
• Assist with any and all office operations and functions as required.
• Attend training schools as required to further develop skills and product knowledge.
• Enter customer orders.
• Contract set-up (part numbers, initial orders and stocking notes).
• Review pricing increases for contract items – assist Account Manager on getting contract prices updated.
• Review open order reports.
• Help expedite open past due orders and back orders with manufacturing.
• Keep track of account status and help assist in resolving any past due invoice issues.
• Responsible for escalating any complex issues to appropriate Account Manager for resolution.
