Job summary

All Points Broadband, a fast-growing fiber internet provider headquartered in Richmond, VA, is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist. You’ll be the first voice customers hear when they’re ready to bring fiber internet home, handling inbound calls and chats, understanding needs, and guiding them to the right plan.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in sales or a customer-facing role.
• Experience handling objections and closing sales over the phone preferred.
• Experience serving customers in rural communities preferred.
• A friendly, confident phone voice and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Solid typing and grammar skills.
• Interest in sales and the drive to learn a full sales conversion, from first question to close.
• Comfort with computers and call center software, or the ability to pick them up quickly.
• Strong organization and follow-through on what you promise customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and chats from people interested in our service.
• Ask questions to learn about what each customer needs, then recommend the plan that fits.
• Explain our plans, pricing, and availability in plain terms, so customers know exactly what they are getting.
• Handle objections with confidence, close the sale when the customer is ready, and follow up with those who need more time.
• Log every call and sale accurately in our billing system, so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Work with our customer care and field sales teams so every new customer gets a smooth handoff.
• Join regular coaching sessions and call reviews with your team and put the feedback to work.
• Stay current on our fiber services and how they compare to other internet providers.
