Job summary

Gerdau North America is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow and manage a portfolio of steel product accounts in the Tampa area. You will respond to requests for orders, quotations, and lead times by fax, phone, or email, build quotes, and process orders with accuracy.

Responsibilities include proactive calls to target accounts, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with Credit and Transportation to ensure on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales-related experience with proven results.
• Exposure to steel industry sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales leads and convert to sales with quotes and delivery estimates.
• Make proactive outbound calls to accounts to generate orders and assist in forecasting.
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve complaints.
• Coordinate with Credit and Transportation to ensure timely shipments.
• Enter new customer data into the database and support outside reps.
