Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Rock Hill, SC to maintain, grow, and service existing and new accounts, proactively identifying sales opportunities for Outside Sales. You will also develop quotes and pricing, and ensure on-time delivery while keeping customers informed of order status.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, sales aptitude, and the ability to build lasting client relationships in a steel/metals environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an Inside Sales role within the steel/metals industry.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.
• Desire to build client relationships and increase sales knowledge/experience.
• Ability to work in a diverse, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, grow, and service existing and new accounts.
• Identify sales opportunities for Outside Sales Representatives.
• Create quotes and pricing; manage order entry and delivery status updates.
• Proactively pursue up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to develop marketing plans.
