Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to maintain, grow, and service existing and new accounts in the metal products sector. The role involves identifying opportunities for the Outside Sales team, up-selling, cross-selling, and reactivating dormant accounts.

Collaborate closely with Outside Sales to build long‑term customer relationships, ensure on‑time delivery, and manage order status while providing high-quality service and actionable pricing.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 2+ years of Inside Sales experience in the steel/metals industry.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.
• Ability to build client relationships and grow sales knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, grow, and service existing and new accounts.
• Identify sales opportunities for Outside Sales; up-sell and cross-sell.
• Reactivate inactive accounts and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to ensure on-time delivery and order accuracy.
