Job summary

Sonepar seeks an experienced Inside Sales professional to join our Tucson team. You will build customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and coordinate with credit, warehouse and management to fulfill customer needs.

The role emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. You will engage with customers by phone or in person, identify sales opportunities, and manage pricing and delivery details while maintaining exceptional service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Intermediate product and application knowledge essential.
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on an excellent customer experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone or in person to receive orders for products.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products.
• Liaison between the customer and QED departments, including credit purchasing, warehouse, outside sales and management.
• Determines make, type, and quantity of merchandise requested by understanding products and references.
• Prepares quotations or estimates of prices, terms and delivery for standard or non-standard merchandise.
• Prepares cash or charge sales tickets with required information for processing and delivery.
