OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a dynamic Counter Sales role in Yuma, AZ. The position supports customer orders by phone and email, provides pricing and quotations, and liaises with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) and two to four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Ability to run and maintain projects.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and metric scales; computing rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Strivesto meet customer expectations with each interaction.
• Receives customer product orders by phone and email.
• Solicits sale of new or additional products by phone and email.
• Liaison between the customer and OneSource departments, including credit purchasing, warehouse, outside sales, and management.
• Determines make, type, and quality of merchandise by familiarity with products and catalog references.
• Provides oral and written quotations or estimates of prices, terms, and delivery for standard, complex or non-standard merchandise.
• Prepares cash or charge sales tickets with required identification and information for processing, shipment, and delivery.
