Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for onsite work in Destin, Daphne, Mandeville, Metairie or Pensacola. You will prepare pricing proposals, support new opportunities, and provide product information to assist outside sales in the utility market.

You will manage the order-to-invoice cycle, ensure quality, and maintain documentation while complying with HSE requirements and company policies. A 1–3 year sales support background is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role.
• Lighting, plumbing fixture and/or appliance product knowledge preferred.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Experience in a target-driven sales environment preferred.
• Developing knowledge of sales techniques such as prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; experience in project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage detailed pricing proposals and quotations for products and services across various projects.
• Support new sales opportunities by monitoring bids, researching projects, and assisting with prospecting efforts.
• Provide product and technical information to outside sales representatives, supporting efforts to generate sales in the utility market segment.
• Develop and maintain customer documentation that outlines product information and solution details.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication, timely order fulfillment, and resolution of technical or service-related issues.
• Oversee and support the full Order-to-Invoice cycle, ensuring quality standards are upheld and all corrective actions and field quality reports are managed effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and complete other duties as assigned.
