Job summary

Polymershapes is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who will focus on consulting with customers to build their book of business and provide outstanding service for plastics needs. You’ll represent a broad catalog of trusted brands and contribute to a solution-driven sales approach.

The role emphasizes building relationships, generating quotes, processing orders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate orders and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-selling environment with shifting priorities.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• High level of honesty and integrity.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: BA/BS Degree or substantial equivalent business experience.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow loyalty and retention.
• Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide information about products and services to customers.
• Place outbound calls to new and existing accounts to identify opportunities and needs.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
• Work with outside sales to increase market share.
• Assist with inventory management based on customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
