The position is direct-hire, full-time, on-site at Franklin with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturday shifts; evening hours may be required as the business grows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or call center roles with demonstrated sales success.
• Strong listening and questioning skills to understand internet needs and recommend services.
• Confidence asking for the sale, addressing objections, and following up with interested customers.
• Commitment to delivering a friendly local customer experience, even with frustrated callers.
• Excellent attention to detail when checking service availability, pricing, and orders.
• Ability to handle calls while navigating multiple computer systems and documenting interactions.
• Clear verbal and written communication, including explaining internet and Wi-Fi options.
• Ability to work toward individual and team goals and use coaching to improve performance.
• Dependability in a scheduled call center environment; willingness to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and close sales with a high percentage of residential prospects.
• Input orders into ordering and billing systems.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports.
• Develop knowledge of services, pricing, and promotions to identify upsell opportunities.
• Utilize CRM daily to schedule and document activities for new opportunities.
• Meet performance standards and monthly quotas.
• Track orders to ensure excellent customer experience from sale to installation.
• Generate new revenue by outbound calls to B2C prospects in existing service areas.
• Support local community events by representing United at event booths.
