Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to maintain, identify, and grow our customer base. You will provide timely project quotations and manage orders for contractors, government, commercial, and industrial customers.

This full-time role emphasizes accurate pricing, negotiations with vendors and customers, and strong customer service. We offer a robust benefits package and growth opportunities within a global electrical distributor.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 1-2 years counter experience – electrical distribution industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite – Eclipse knowledge preferred.
• Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Multiple customer types including contractor, government, commercial and industrial.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Setup certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Help counter with sales.
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.
