Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Piedmont, SC to maintain and grow a customer base while delivering superior service. You will quote, manage orders, negotiate terms, and support a diverse set of Industrial, OEM, Government accounts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and strong communication skills in a team-focused environment with robust benefits and career growth within a global electrical distributor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years counter experience in electrical distribution preferred.
• Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Customer base is primarily Industrial, OEM, Government, and some Construction Accounts.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Set up certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Assist counter with sales.
• Maintain courtesy and professionalism with customers.
• Multitask and prioritize tasks to complete daily objectives.
• Perform other duties as required.
