Job summary

Hydraulic Controls, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Stockton, CA to manage a portfolio of OEM, resale and user accounts, overseeing orders from entry to delivery and addressing customer inquiries with professionalism.

The role requires a high school diploma (some college preferred), at least one year of customer service and hydraulic sales, basic understanding of hydraulic systems, ERP familiarity (TrulinX or similar), strong communication skills, and willingness to multi-task.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or trade school preferred.
Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude essential; basic hydraulic systems knowledge.
Minimum one year of customer service and hydraulic sales experience.
Familiarity with vendor part numbering and product lines; ERP research skills.
Strong customer service and communication; ability to multi-task and solve problems.
Forklift certification may be required at some branches.
Ability to build relationships with vendors for quotes and expedites.

Responsibilities

Serve as key contact for designated accounts, processing orders and resolving inquiries.
Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivery issues communicated to sales/management.
Troubleshoot order issues, source parts, and manage stock transfers when needed.
Maintain margins and be aware of competitive pricing.
Handle credits, returns, and related warranty parts.
Suggest additional products and generate leads for Outside Sales.
Enter and maintain CRM data and document opportunities.
Provide the full range of customer service support as required.
Collaborate with branch teams and management.
