Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our Rexel USA team in St Rose, LA. You will drive proactive inside sales and marketing efforts, quote orders, and develop profitable growth by building strong customer relationships.

You will support outside sales, process orders, and use digital tools to expand product sales to new and existing customers. The role requires 2+ years in customer service or sales and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Proactive inside sales with ability to quote, process orders and support customers.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs and terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Use digital tools to sell, promote, and answer technical questions.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Maintain customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare quotations and follow up through purchasing cycle.
• Report market data and product knowledge to management.
• Participate in product meetings and training to stay informed.
