Job summary

DPR Construction in Richmond is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage customer inquiries, sales orders, and fulfillment on our Mega Project site. You will serve as a primary internal contact, ensuring accurate order processing, timely issue resolution, and support for revenue growth and customer satisfaction while collaborating with outside sales, branch leadership, and internal support teams.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience, 2–4 years

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of inside sales, customer service, or sales operations experience.
• 2–4 years in construction supplies or equipment industry preferred.
• Strong product knowledge and process expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer interactions through the order lifecycle including inquiries, quotes, orders, fulfillment, and issue resolution.
• Create and maintain accurate sales quotes, sales orders, invoices, and rental or re-rental contracts.
• Coordinate purchasing for inventory, drop-ship items, re-rented equipment, and site services.
• Support inventory, equipment, and receiving activities with accurate records and discrepancy resolution.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
• Leverage product knowledge to aid customer decision-making and resolve service issues.
• Prioritize daily tasks to consistently meet service standards.
