Job summary

Associated Bag seeks an Inside Sales Representative to proactively contact decision-makers, promote stock and custom items, and negotiate pricing and terms. You will develop a deep understanding of customers' businesses and manage relationships using our CRM system.

Responsibilities include quoting, negotiating delivery and payment terms, and exploring value-added services such as warehousing and direct shipments. Strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred
• 3 years of experience in sales or customer service
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and agreements
• Strong writing and business correspondence skills
• Effective presentation and communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
• Basic math skills, including calculating discounts and gross margins

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact decision-makers to promote stock and custom items
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and freight considerations
• Quote and negotiate special pricing and terms
• Manage customer contacts using the CRM program
• Explain services such as warehousing, packaging, and direct shipments
