Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Gexpro team in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on proactive inside sales, maintaining customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, and expanding organic growth from the existing customer base.

You will use digital tools to sell, answer technical questions, and support field sales. The position requires 2+ years in customer service or sales and a High School diploma or GED, with opportunities for advancement within Rexel

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize digital tools to sell, promote, demonstrate products and increase sales.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Learn customer operations to identify objectives and resolve issues using root-cause analysis.
• Process quotes/proposals and provide follow up through purchasing cycle.
• Report market and competitor information to management.
• Participate in product meetings and training to enhance product knowledge.
• Pursue product applications with internal resources and vendor reps.
• Perform other branch duties as needed.
