ABC Supply Interiors, a leading distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles and building materials, seeks an Inside Sales Associate in Crown Point, IN. You will greet customers, provide product expertise, and guide orders from start to finish with a focus on service and solutions.

Responsibilities include developing solutions for customers, discussing product features, coordinating deliveries, and supporting merchandising and sales planning.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience with interior building products is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing ABC Supply Interiors solutions to meet their needs.
• Discuss features and benefits of products and services.
• Establish rapport with new customers and nurture relationships with long term customers.
• Soliciting feedback from customers on products and services.
• Coordinating delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the development of branch sales plan and strategy.
• Assist in the design and execution of merchandising strategy.
• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job.
• Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise.
