Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors, a leading drywall and building materials distributor, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Rochester, NY. You will greet customers, provide expert material guidance, and manage orders from quote to checkout.

Responsibilities include facilitating product solutions, coordinating deliveries, maintaining stock, and supporting the branch sales plan with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience with interior building products preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in developing L&W solutions to meet their needs.
• Discuss features and benefits of products and services.
• Establish rapport with new customers and nurture relationships with long term customers.
• Solicit feedback from customers on products and services.
• Coordinate delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the development of branch sales plan and strategy.
• Assist in the design and execution of merchandising strategy.
• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions, up-selling additional products and supplies for each job.
• Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner.
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account.
• Arrange with the warehouse for customer product pickup.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked.
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
