Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Arlington, WA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the primary contact for retail customers, offering product expertise, estimates, quotes, and order processing. You will help customers find the right materials for decks, fences, or sheds while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

You'll promote materials, coordinate delivery, and support workshops and customer initiatives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Six months of sales or customer service experience suggested.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn order-entry systems.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding service to retail customers via walk-ins, calls, and email.
Assist with product selection, pricing, availability, returns, and exchanges.
Promote and sell building materials and related solutions.
Prepare material estimates and quotes for projects (decks, fences, sheds, etc.).
Enter orders and coordinate delivery scheduling.
Manage daily workload to meet goals.
Support customer engagement initiatives and events.
Resolve routine concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
