Job summary

Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to handle inbound and outbound calls, service contractors, distributors and retailers from our Rocky Hill, CT branch. You will process quotes and orders, work with the outside sales team, and strive to meet sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

Proficiency in MS Excel and strong communication are essential. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, a health plan, 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
• Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (EXCEL required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
• Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and informs the Branch Manager.
• Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
• Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
• Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information.
• Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment.
