Job summary

Hyperion Solutions is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Administrator to join our Application Sales team in Memphis. The role provides technical support, performs order facilitation, and coordinates with Sales and Engineering teams to drive customer success.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in administrative support or inside sales, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. SAP experience is a plus; on-site work in Memphis is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in administrative support, customer service, inside sales, or related role.
• Must be mechanically inclined, analytical, creative, and a team player.
• Must possess strong organization, communication, problem solving, understanding customer decisions, verbal and written communication, and multitasking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows OS including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, browsers, and Windows Explorer.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Must have prompt and regular attendance, sense of urgency, self-motivation, and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize customer relationships through regular sales communications.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with resolution of customer issues, concerns, and complaints.
• Perform outbound emails and calls, as well as inbound lead follow-up activities.
• Maintain and expand the company customer database using CRM tools.
• Update notes and activities in the sales quote pipeline.
• Create and process proposals and sales orders in line with company policies.
• Support Sales and Application Engineering teams.
