Job summary

Excel-Scientific-Inc is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as the primary contact for customers, processing orders, updating ERP data, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years in customer service or inside sales in technical or life science fields, strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Sage ERP and Microsoft Office, and excellent organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or technical certification/licensure, two to four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years Customer Service or inside sales experience in technical or life science field preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service skills including active listening, effective communication and problem solving.
• Knowledge of ERP software (Sage) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and pivot skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchase orders and data entry with accuracy.
• Maintain order statuses in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform periodic calls to existing customers to assess satisfaction.
• Provide backup support for sample requests and product packets.
• Assist leadership with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
