Qualifications

• 2–4 years of recent experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• Experience with customer service, sales support, order entry, or account management.
• Strong understanding of order processing, product availability, and shipping coordination.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Typing speed ~60 wpm and accurate 10-key data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps and customers with product availability, pricing, freight costs, and estimated shipping dates.
• Obtain and communicate current product and shipping costs.
• Enter and process orders for stock and non-stock products.
• Coordinate orders across multiple warehouse locations.
• Determine and schedule cost-effective shipping methods.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, warehouses, and freight carriers.
• Track shipments and provide delivery updates.
• Assist with freight claims, delivery issues, and order discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, and shipping information.
• Manage incoming phone calls and emails while processing orders.
• File paperwork and maintain an organized workspace.
• Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer service.
