Job summary

GSS Construction & Oilfield Supply in Texas seeks an Account Coordinator – Inside Sales / Order Coordination to own the internal coordination of customer orders from initial request through entry, sourcing, status updates, and fulfillment while supporting profitable sales and a reliable customer experience.

You will work closely with Outside Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Service Representatives, Field Specialists, Fabrication, Credit/Accounting, and branch management to ensure accurate records

Qualifications

• Experience in inside-sales, order-management or customer service.
• Oilfield or industrial-supply familiarity preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer calls, emails, walk-ins, and internal requests.
• Clarify order details and involve sales or technical resources as needed.
• Prepare quotes and enter orders with accurate pricing, tax, and shipping.
• Confirm stock, lead times, delivery method, and status before commitments.
• Coordinate withSales, Purchasing, Inventory, Yard, and Fabrication to fulfill orders.
• Maintain NetSuite records and ensure data accuracy.
• Support walk-in and pickup customers with material pull and staging.
• Escalate pricing, credit, tax, returns, or warranty issues within authority.
