Job summary

  • Develop internal systems and procedures; promote customer awareness; evaluate competition; coordinate solutions between sales and other departments; train new Sales Engineers and Sales Associates; provide business inputs to sales management.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Interact with functional areas within the nuclear team and other North America departments to ensure alignment of schedules and initiatives.
  • Manage on time to schedule metrics and provide monthly status reports.
  • Assist with SOP and capacity reporting.

Job description

The Nuclear Industry Manager will lead the nuclear applications teams to ensure alignment of schedules, workflows, setting priorities, assigning and checking quotations. There will be a strong focus on achieving target service levels for the applicable metrics for each group. The Manager is also responsible for identifying and executing longer-term growth and improvement projects to drive towards the overall nuclear team sales and service level goals.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
  • Delegation of incoming Nuclear Safety Related and ASME III quotation requests
  • Checkingof Nuclear Safety Related and ASME III quotation requests
  • Direct Report responsibilities for Nuclear Contracts team
  • Participate in development of internal systems and procedures; promote customer awareness among all employees; evaluate competition; analyze common product problems and coordinate solutions; provide a liaison between sales and other departments; provide training of new Sales Engineers and Sales Associates; and provide business inputs to sales management.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Interact with the different functional areas within the nuclear team, other North America departments, and Test & Evaluation to ensure alignment of schedules and key initiatives.
  • Manage on time to schedule metrics and provide monthly status reports.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience preparing quotations and managing the fulfillment of those orders
  • Administrative writing skills and a track record of building customer relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Technical knowledge of valves, valve products or similar engineered products
  • Experience with quotes and order fulfillment in the Nuclear Power Industry

Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $110,000 - $ 145,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
