Job summary

Atkore International in Harvey, IL is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the main contact for government agencies, contractors and distributors. You will manage an active Bollard projects pipeline, match customer needs with security solutions, and log opportunities in Salesforce.

Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and production to deliver customer solutions while meeting quarterly KPI targets and growing revenue for Atkore's electrical and infrastructure offerings.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of inside sales experience.
• Ability to put the customer first and respond quickly to changing project conditions.
• Strong work ethic with good organizational skills.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contact point for customers including governmental agencies, contractors and distributors.
• Maintain a pipeline of active Bollard projects (stadiums, bridges, commercial areas).
• Match customer needs with security solutions and contribute to new product development as needed.
• Provide market intelligence and competitive pricing feedback to management.
• Close deals and grow the business by building customer relationships and networking.
• Meet quarterly sales goals through daily KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and production to solve customer needs.
• Log opportunities and KPI data in Salesforce.
• Review Dodge and Syteline for leads and quotes.
