Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college or college degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in inside sales preferred.
• May require possession (or ability to obtain) an insurance license as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establishes professional relationships with client families to meet their needs.
• Represents the company in a professional and caring manner.
• Provides tours and guides families visiting cemetery locations.
• Attends services and visitations to develop relationships and referrals.
• Completes required paperwork and ensures compliance with interment verification processes.
• Develops new prospects and community-based contacts.
• Makes presentations at the business location, at client homes, and at public events highlighting services.
• Maintains proactive communication with funeral homes, departments, and team members for a smooth service process.
• Reports progress to the Sales Manager (or Unit Leader).
• Schedules and conducts aftercare appointments to ensure client family satisfaction and obtain referrals.
• Identifies and remedies hazards at location and on grounds.
