Position Overview:
Hitachi Vantara Federal is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with Senior Account Executives to drive lead generation, execute account strategies, and fuel pipeline growth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact while positioning Hitachi's cutting-edge solutions to federal clients.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Senior Account Executives to align account strategies with customer needs and business objectives.
• Lead Generation (70%): Identify and qualify prospects through a mix of inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound outreach.
• Operational Excellence (20%): Support sales operations and administrative tasks to ensure smooth execution of strategies.
• CRM Management (10%): Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (SFDC) to enable tracking and insights.
• Sales Outreach: Engage prospects via email, phone, social media, and Salesloft; automate and track outreach efforts to maximize productivity.
• Solution Selling: Learn and articulate Hitachi's portfolio (storage, cloud, IoT, and data management) to address federal client needs.
• Pipeline Growth: Build a qualified sales pipeline through consistent follow-up and prospecting.
• Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed key sales KPIs-calls, meetings booked, decision-maker contacts, and opportunities generated.
• Presentation Skills: Deliver compelling product and company presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance to drive company-wide initiatives.
• Travel: Attend customer meetings and federal industry events, up to 25% travel required.

What You Will Bring To The Team:
• Experience: 2-3 years in technology sales or business development.
• Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and build rapport.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Federal Sales: Experience with U.S. Federal, State, or Local government clients.
• CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Sales Tools: Experience with Salesloft or similar engagement platforms.
• Technical Curiosity: Eagerness to learn and articulate emerging technologies.
• Career Ambition: Interest in growing into advanced roles within Hitachi Vantara Federal.
