Job summary

The Inside Sales Application Engineer I at Tranter delivers technical sales and application engineering support for heat exchanger solutions across North America. You will work with customers, channel partners, and the sales team to craft engineered solutions, prepare proposals, and support orders from development to fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of technical sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of heat exchanger design, engineered products, P&ID diagrams, and fabrication drawings preferred.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to support continuous improvement, SOP compliance, and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and application engineering support.
• Develop engineered solutions, prepare technical proposals and quotations.
• Support project execution from opportunity development through order fulfillment.
• Handle product selection, quotation preparation, and CRM management.
• Forecast and assist with customer training; collaborate with manufacturing.
