LKQ Corporation in Shawnee, KS is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a parts sales associate. You will promote sales of new and existing products, provide exceptional customer service, assess customer needs, and answer questions about parts, pricing, and services.

Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour DOE. Responsibilities include processing orders, informing customers about warranties, delivery times, substitutions when parts are unavailable, and developing relationships with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of related automotive or sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and customer service basics.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by promoting sales of company products and providing customer service.
• Evaluate customer needs and answer questions regarding parts, pricing and services.
• Provide information on warranties, price, quality of parts and delivery times.
• Process orders, including entry, pricing checks and shipping data, and follow up with customers.
• Prospect and develop relationships to cultivate new business.
• Inform customers of unit prices, delays, substitutions, and any needed information.

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Starting pay $20-22/hr DOEResponsible for generating revenue by promoting sales of new and existing company products, providing customer service, evaluating customer needs, and answering questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.Essential Job DutiesProvide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).Follow-up with customers as needed.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED1+ years of related experience requiredPreferred RequirementsCollege coursework or degree.Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.Bilingual English/Spanish.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Basic computer skills.Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
